Intact Download

Post your clips the way you shot them.

TikTok usually re-compresses what you upload into a small, soft copy. Intact prepares each clip so TikTok keeps your file and plays it back untouched.

Install with one line in Terminal

curl -fsSL https://intact.pawanpaudel.com.np/install.sh | bash

Or download the DMG. Free, for Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or later) on macOS 13 or newer.

A normal upload about 720p under 1 Mbps
An Intact upload 1080 × 1920 about 22 Mbps Identical to the file you sent

How you use it

  1. Drop your clips in

MP4 or MOV from Insta360 Studio, your phone or an editor. Choose Smooth 60 fps if you want in-between frames added.

  2. Upload from tiktok.com

Post each upload.mp4 from a desktop browser, set to Private first. The phone app re-compresses on the way up.

  3. Check what TikTok kept

Save the video TikTok plays back and drop it into Check upload. Intact tells you if it is identical to your file.

What it does to a clip

It encodes the clip once with H.264 settings that TikTok passes through, then adjusts the file's container so TikTok serves your encode instead of making its own. Every frame of the result is checked against the clean encode before you see Ready to upload.

For 60 fps, RIFE v4.25 draws a new frame between each pair on your Mac's GPU, keeping every original frame. It takes a few minutes per 30-second clip. Everything runs on your Mac: no account, no uploads to anyone but TikTok.

Installing and updating

What the one-line installer does

It downloads the latest release from GitHub, checks the DMG against the release's SHA-256 checksums and the app's code signature, then copies Intact.app into Applications. It never asks for your password. Because the file wasn't downloaded in a browser, macOS opens it without a security prompt.

Options: bash -s -- --check shows what would change, bash -s -- --uninstall moves the app to the Trash.

If you downloaded the DMG instead

Intact isn't notarized by Apple, so the first open of a downloaded copy is blocked. Drag Intact to Applications, then either run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Intact.app in Terminal, or open it once, close the warning and choose Open Anyway in System Settings, Privacy & Security.

How updates work

When a new version is out, a small Update button appears at the top of the window. It downloads the update, checks its signature and installs it, with no security prompt. It waits while clips are being prepared.
